The Wyoming County Historical Society in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania participates in and hosts the following events:

34th Annual WCHS Open House

Sunday, May 17, 2026

Tour the museum and genealogical library and visit the special exhibits.

Founder's Day

Saturday, June 27, 2026, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

We will be on the west lawn of the Dietrich Theater, near GEM 99&100 and PAL-FM. Look for the Commemorative Ornaments, the Sesquicentennial book, and our new Shelf Sitters: the Tunkhannock UMC and the Nativity BVM.

Wyoming County Fair

September 2–7, 2026

Visit our booth at the fair! The society's library and museum will be closed during the fair.
